A few months ago I decided this would be my last WordCamp as an organizer. Not because I didn’t like it.

I have been organizing WordCamp Netherlands for the past 4 editions together with Remkus, Marcel and Bas. This year Barry joined us, taking care of speakers. He did a great job!

Time for me to step down, as Remkus already mentioned in his closing words last saturday. There are enough great people in the Dutch WordPress community who are willing to help organizing this great event. They deserve a chance in creating something awesome.

There are enough other things for me to contribute in the WordPress community. For example translating and organizing the WordPress meetup in Rotterdam.

Thank you all for your kind words and compliments last years. Goodbye WordCamp Netherlands, until we meet again…
